Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation (UAC) is a not for profit, 100% Aboriginal owned community organisation based in Singleton NSW.
We assist the Aboriginal Community in the Upper Hunter and Regional NSW to achieve their vision for the future so they have equivalent access and outcomes in Health, education, training, employment and economic participation and business development as enjoyed by the community as a whole, whilst retaining the unique heritage and traditions of the Wanaruah Community.

Barranggirra Program
Barranggirra is funded by the NSW Government and provides end-to-end support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners through culturally appropriate mentoring to ensure successful retention and completion of training and improved post-training employment outcomes.
Eligibility for Learners
This program is for Aboriginal learners undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship, or part qualification and/or full qualification through the Smart and Skilled program. Learners must have a TCID (training contract ID) or CID (commitment ID) to be eligible for Barranggirra.
