Soupzon Through Grace is a service for all in need: for those needing a hand up, doing it tough, or financially struggling.
The service is changing! They want to serve more people who need a hand up. They will now be providing meals only in the outdoor location at the TAFE Park Rotunda Cessnock 2 nights a week for those sleeping rough, homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. No-one is turned away.
WHEN: Wednesdays and Fridays, 5.00pm to 7.00pm
WHERE: TAFE Park Rotunda, Cessnock
AND
Partnering with the Abermain Mission Hall Church, 139 Harle St., Abermain, 2326.
Every Sunday fortnight from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at the Community Café.
As a secondary service they provide a regular monthly outreach service where they take their fully loaded trailer to nominated public parks within the Cessnock LGA where support is useful. They disseminate donated clothing, emergency food, hygiene and care hampers and small household goods according to need.
This mobile service is currently monthly, however they plan to expand further.
They will provide fun for the kids whilst you can check out how ‘Soupz On’ can help with clothes, etc (for all ages). Do you need clothes, food or just friends who care? Do you need a meal? (free sausage sandwich provided).
WHEN: the second Saturday in the month
TIME: 11.00am till 1.00pm (Kidz Care will start at 11.15am and go to 12.15pm)
