NAIDOC Week 2025

Each year communities and organisations across the Cessnock LGA host activities to celebrate and share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture during NAIDOC Week.

NAIDOC Week celebrations will be held from 6 – 13 July 2025, with this year’s National NAIDOC Week marking 50 years of the week-long celebrations!

The theme for 2025, 'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy', celebrates achievements of the past and the bright future ahead.

Everyone is welcome to participate and it is a fantastic opportunity to support, learn about and get involved with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.
