Burning of the Barrel: Glandore Wines

Saturday June 28 2025, from 3pm till late

While Australia may have experienced the smallest harvest in decades, we’ll be celebrating like it’s 2021. The magnitude of our bonfire will certainly make up for any lack in harvest volume! The great vibes & entertainment line-up is just the thing to get us focused on and celebrating the positives from our 2025 harvest.

Every year we celebrate turning of vintage with a spectacle of mammoth proportions boasting the biggest bonfire you’re likely to see all year, wonderful wine, great food and tons of entertainment. Burning of the Barrel is a chance for Glandore’s wine makers, cellar door staff, club members, locals and guests to come together and enjoy the fruits of our labour. Of course, the highlight of the night is ignition of the ‘sacrificial’ wine barrel, whilst lighting up the sky with a brilliant fireworks display.

Running every June since 2012, Burning of the Barrel is a sell out every year and has been voted in the ‘top 50 wine experiences worldwide’ even drawing guests from Europe and America!
