NEW FACILITIES FOR GRETA BRANXTON COLTS
Local Labor MP Dan Repacholi today is delighted to announce that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $2 million to Cessnock City Council for improvements to rugby league facilities at Greta Central Oval.
Cessnock City Council identified the need for further upgrades to local recreational facilities around Greta and Branxton. Local sporting clubs across this region are growing, with many young families moving to this beautiful part of the Hunter electorate.
The Greta Branxton Colts Rugby League Football Club will be one of the beneficiary groups of this funding commitment. This club has experienced significant growth across their junior, senior and women’s Teams and upgraded facilities will go a long way in further supporting the community.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
