Local Jobs, Local People Grant

Community organisations across Australia can now apply for Local Job, Local People grants ranging from $50,000-$250,000 under the Local Jobs Program.

The Local Jobs, Local People Grant opportunity will fund activities addressing local employment needs, supporting individuals and help people get jobs, access training, and create pathways leading to jobs across Australia.
 
Successful projects will support businesses to employ local people in ongoing roles and providing additional support services for those facing systemic barriers to paid employment as well as providing opportunities in sectors facing skill shortages including construction, care and support, digital and emerging technologies and the energy transition.
