Purpose: Provides funding for general community development and support activities.

You are considered eligible for Category 1 funding if your project falls under specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities, and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Category 1 (Most Common):
Supports community welfare and social services; community development; employment assistance activities; community health services; and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.  Also offers Non monetary support, with assistance with room hire, prizes for fundraisers and so on.

Category 2:
Provides funding for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport. Also offers Non monetary support, with assistance with room hire, prizes for fundraisers and so on.
