Nominations now open for the 2026 National Shed Awards!

It’s that time again, fellas time to celebrate the legends keeping Australia’s sheds ticking, tinkering and thriving.

The National Shed Awards are back for 2026, proudly supported by our mates at Fair Dinkum Builds, and they’re shining a spotlight on the creativity, community spirit and classic shed ingenuity that make Men’s Sheds such a vital part of Aussie life.

This year the awards have had a bit of a polish-up, with a few new categories to get the tools rattling and the ideas flowing:

🔧 The Bright Spark Award – for a unique or unusual approach to a problem or project
🌱 The Green Shed Award – for a project or activity that puts the environment or recycling front and centre
💪 Healthy Shed, Healthy Blokes Award – for promoting men’s mental and physical wellbeing
🤝 Community Impact Award – for a Shed making a real difference in its community

If your Shed’s been doing something you’re proud of — big or small — make sure you throw your hat in the ring.

🗓️ Entries close Thursday 19 December 2026, so don’t wait around — get your nomination in and give your Shed the recognition it deserves.
